Wall divides space; wall constructs the measurement for volumes. Wall is everywhere around us in daily life; its ubiquity creates endless stories for us. The Wailing Wall in religion, the Berlin Wall in politics, even the Great Wall that separates guannei and guanwai is also a kind of wall; they are all our ‘wall’ memories. Each wall has its own story, not to mention an empty room, which still has four walls with it. A blank wall is like an open stage to all, a medium too, while this exhibition is a play named design, produced by designers and with design products as its performers. Where there is a wall of infinity, there is an infinite design; it may be a product used on the wall, a story happened beside the wall, or, more involved, a triangle among people, product and the wall. Hopefully, with products, we convey not only the beauty and value of wall, but the interaction between people and products could also be accentuated.
