This design concept is based on the ideas of the noble ruff from the Middle Ages Europe. Putting on the drip ruff onto a wine bottle while drinking it, is also providing an elegantly atmosphere. |
|
This drip ruff is made of India paper which are glued together and precisely cut, then opened to form honeycomb structure. Rounded it in a 360 degree, the structure would provide the elasticity to make the drip ruff to hold onto a neck of bottle. India paper is the material that used for traditional Chinese painting, the characteristic of it is good in sop up liquid. Thus, for the drip ruff here, it could sop up the wine drip after pouring. |
India paper and glue are used only for this design. With the simple folding method and materials, this drip ruff is disposable after use, the paper can be recycle, so it is environmental friendly, hygienic and convenient in the way of use. |
